Did you forget to change sharing settings? If you left it on "anyone in the district can view," then parents and guardians won't be able to view the contents of your shared folder, since they do not have a district Google login. 
Is your folder empty? If there are no documents in the folder, then the page will appear to be blank until you add at least one document into the Google folder. Did you share a document instead of a folder? This app can only embed a whole folder-it will not work to embed a document. If your folder does not display properly, one of these issues might be the cause: Paste the URL into the Google Folder app, select Grid View (for thumbnails) or List View, and click Save. Select the " Anyone with the link" option, and click the blue Save button.Īfter clicking save, it should say "Anyone with the link can view." Click the Copy Link button to copy the URL to your clipboard. You will need to click Sharing Settings at the bottom, and when the pop-up opens, click the drop-down and choose More at the bottom. Finally, select Finish and your shortcut will appear on the desktop. Select Next, and on the following screen, name your shortcut. Type in the URL of the Google Sheets file or paste it directly from the browser. Open the Menu and select New and then select Shortcut. If you are a Google district, then the default sharing setting will say "Anyone in ABC School District can view." This will not work for your public website. Right-click to a preferred spot on your desktop. This will automatically turn on link sharing, if it was not already activated. 
Choose "Get Shareable Link." Alternately, select the folder (left-click on it once do not double-click to open), then click the link icon in the top right corner. In Google Drive, right click on the folder you wish to share. Note the distinctions between snapshot and saved script URLs described below.
